Upcoming Events
COMING EVENTS – POINTSCORE

Sunday 6th November WRX Interclub Motorkhana – Eastern Creek Skidpan
This event will have been run and won by the time you get this magazine. At the time of writing I know we had quite a few TCC members already entered and doing their best to secure further Interclub Challenge points to help keep us in 1st Place. Depending on how fast the results come out, I will endeavour to have an updated pointscore for all to see at the November meeting.

Thursday 10th November TCC Monthly Meeting
8pm at Thornleigh Community Centre. Trophies for the recent State Khanacross at Ansell Park will be presented here and if you can’t make it to the December meeting we are happy to start taking membership renewal forms for 2012 as well as the return of perpetual championship trophies for engraving for next year. Please note that the first competitive event for next year is before the first club meeting so it makes sense to rejoin at the end of the year. Please check the expiry date on your yellow TCC membership card as new members who have joined in the second half of 2011 should already be paid up to the end of 2012.

Saturday 12th November AMSAG Sunny Corner Forest Rally
This event replaces the cancelled HDCC Introductory Rallysprint from early September.
Distance: 110.82km Competitive, 51.60km Transport, 3 stages run twice.
Venue: Sunny Corner State Forest.
Scrutineering: Regional in the week before the event. Refer www.amsag.com.au
Time: 7:00am Documentation, 9:00am Briefing, 10:00am Car 1 Starts,
3:00pm Car 1 Finishes, 5:30pm Trophies.
Entries: $290 per crew, entries close 6:00pm on Wednesday 9th November.
Centrally located Service Park in Sunny Corner so you don’t have to have a service crew, and food available for sale by Meadow Flat Public School for breakfast and lunch. Supp regs are available at www.amsag.com.au or call Director Peter Batt on 0400 828 911 for further info. At the time of writing it looks like we have Dominic Connolly/Adam Aylward, Andrew Crowley/Nicole Crowley and Michael Dobeson/Kim Dibley competing at this rally with a rumour that the Cortina of Jim Richardson/John Littler will be sweeping the road for us as Car 00. Fingers crossed the Parsonage Bluebird just needs a few tweaks before a last minute entry.

Sunday 13th November CRC Penrith Pas de Deux
Untimed touring assembly with three levels of navigation - Masters, Apprentices and Tour. There will be 2 divisions with a total length of 320km and only 3km unsealed roads.
Scrutineering: Regional in the 2 weeks before the event, arrange your own Scrutineer.
Start Venue: Westco Building Consultants – Unit 29/29 Coombes Drive, Cambridge Park.
Time: 7:00am Registration, 8:30am Briefing, 9:00am Car 1 Start, 3:30pm Car 1 Finish.
Entries: $70 per crew, and entries close on 9th November (before next TCC meeting).
A team effort by CRC’s Jeff West and TCC’s Maher Motorsport, you are guaranteed it will be a high quality event. Supp regs are available at www.classicrallyclub.com.au as well as on the TCC website.

Thursday 8th December TCC Christmas Meeting
8pm at Thornleigh Community Centre. If you are able to assist with organizing food or setting up inside the main hall for this night please call Dominic Connolly on 0418 285 322 or email iqvoid ‘at’ hotmail ‘dot’ com. He has a VERY busy work schedule that takes him all over the State of NSW plus a rally car to prepare for Sunny Corner and I’m sure a few extra helpers will do wonders for his stress levels. From experience he has voicemail on his phone and will always get back to you so there’s no excuse to not call him folks……..
Also a good chance to renew club membership for 2012 and return perpetual championship trophies for engraving for the Presentation Night.

Saturday 10th December HDCC Club Captains State Khanacross – Hampton
Venue: Hills Motor Park – Jenolan Caves Road, Hampton
Time: 11:30am Scrutineering, 1:30pm Briefing, 2:00pm Start, Approx 8:00pm Finish.
Entries: $50 Adults, $20 Juniors, enter on the day.
Bring your driving lights as this event includes a night section. Lunch, dinner and drinks will be for sale by the usual ‘Caravan of Love’ crew on the day and Hampton Halfway House at the top of the hill also has good pub food and drinks for after the event. Directed by Peter Batt - he is a bit busy organising a rally at the moment so supp regs are still a work in progress. More details on this event closer to the date and at www.hdcc.com.au
Please note this is the final round of the HDCC/NDDC/NSSCC/SDC/TCC/Toyo/WRX Interclub Challenge and we have a good chance of winning the trophy back this year.
